HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Preliminary Plat for Fox Creek Subdivision RESOLUTION NO. 04-177 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR FOX CREEK SUBDIVISION FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS,the developers are requesting approval of a Preliminary Plat for a subdivision with five lots to be developed under"RL" (Residential Low-Density) zoning; and, WHEREAS, the total gross acreage included in this request is 11.72 acres and is located at the southwest corner of State Avenue and Dartmoor Road; and, WHEREAS, the property owner is proposing a subdivision that will create five lots to be developed with single-family detached residential homes; and, WHEREAS, the property is currently undeveloped with the exception of the property owner's home that is under construction on proposed Lot 1; and, WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of this Preliminary Plat at their meeting of April 21, 2004, with the following stipulation: 1. That a Development Agreement be prepared and signed by the developers prior to the Final Plat for Fox Creek Subdivision being placed on the City Council agenda for action. This Agreement shall document the developer's and the City's responsibilities and costs associated with the development of Fox Creek Subdivision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Preliminary Plat for Fox Creek Subdivision is hereby approved with the stipulation listed above. ADOPTED THIS 27"'day of April, 2004. Diane R.
