RESOLUTION DIVIDING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
AMONG CONDOMINIUM UNITS ON BILLY SUNDAY
ROAD,AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Ames City Council did,by Resolution No. 00-553, enacted December 17,2000,
levy special assessment number 25816 for street paving to serve property at 528 Billy Sunday Road in Ames,
Iowa; said property then being identified as tax parcel 09-14-276-300; and
WHEREAS, the said property was subsequently converted to a horizontal property regime
(condominiums) for which special assessments are required by Section 400B.11 Code of Iowa to now be
levied with respect to each apartment and its respective appurtenant fractional share or percentage of the
land, general common elements and limited common elements where applicable;
NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, as follows:
1. With respect to condominium apartments at 528 Billy Sunday Road,Ames, Iowa, legally
described as Lot 4, South Duff Community Park,Ames,Iowa,formerly identified as tax parcel 09-14-276-
300, the aforesaid special assessment number 25816, in the unpaid amount of$43,219.84 is divided and
assessed with respect to each condominium apartment as follows:

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify the aforesaid separate special
assessments to the Treasurer of Story County for collection over the remaining life of the original assessment
in the same manner as though levied originally upon the said condominium apartments. A copy of this
resolution certified by the City Clerk as a true copy is to be filed with the Story County Recorder and the
Story County Auditor,as well as the County Treasurer,to show the division of the assessment.
