RESOLUTION APPROVING VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED bythe City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,pursuant to Section 368.7,
Code of Iowa, that the voluntary annexation of land to the City of Ames described as follows and
shown on the attached map is hereby approved:

Survey Description-Parcel `F:
The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 21 and a part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
16, all in Township 83 North, Range 24 west of the 5t1i P.M., Story County,Iowa being more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 16; thence SO1°13'07"E, 1300.21 feet to the North
Quarter Corner of said Section 21; thence S00°34'54"E, 2633.37 feet to the Center of said

368.7(3) of the Code of Iowa, also grants tax exemption for annexation purposes to the full extent
allowed by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall file a copy of this resolution,map,
and legal description with the Story County Recorder, the Iowa Secretary of State, and the Iowa
Department of Transportation.
