RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF CONTRACT
FOR 2001/02 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM—
ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Water and Pollution Control Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the 2001/02 Water System Improvements Program—Elevated Water Storage Tank
for the City of Ames,Iowa,in accordance with a contract dated November 13,2001,by and between
the City of Ames, Iowa, and CB&I Constructors, Inc., of Clive, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2001/02 Water System Improvements
Program—Elevated Water Storage Tank has been fully completed by the Contractor in
accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $1,087,503.00.
Section 3. The amount due CB&I Constructors, Inc., of Clive, Iowa, is hereby ordered
paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 14`h day of October, 2003.
