RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GUIDELINES
FOR FEATURES IN ACTIVITY NODES AND RECREATION SITES
FOR THE SOUTH LINCOLN SUB-AREA URBAN REVITALIZATION AREA
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, the Urban Revitalization Plan for the South Lincoln Sub-Area refers to
"Guidelines,"which are not a part of the Plan itself, and,
WHEREAS, the Guidelines for features in activity nodes and recreation sites are intended
to guide developers and staff in determining whether the proposal meets the objectives of the Urban
Revitalization Plan and are consistent with the Sub-Area Plan; and,
WHEREAS,particularly for activity nodes and recreation sites,the Guidelines describe the
size, type, and quality of features to be provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the Guidelines for features in activity nodes and recreation sites for the South Lincoln Sub-Area
Urban Revitalization Area, as attached hereto, are hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 26`'' day of August, 2003.
