RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF CONTRACT
FOR RUNWAY 13/31 PARALLEL TAXIWAY LIGHTING AND SIGNING PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for the
Runway 13/31 Parallel Taxiway Lighting and Signing Project for the City of Ames, Iowa, in
accordance with a contract dated June 11,2002,by and between the City of Ames,Iowa,and Kimrey
Electric of Des Moines, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Runway 13/31 Parallel Taxiway Lighting and
Signing Project has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms
of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $138,747.20.
Section 3. The amount due Kimrey Electric of Des Moines,Iowa,is hereby ordered paid
as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 8th day of July, 2003.
