Home My WebLink About~Master - Suspension of parking meter enforcement for Downtown Dixie event RESOLUTION NO. 03-202 RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR SUSPENSION OF PARKING METER ENFORCEMENT FOR DOWNTOWN DIXIE ACTIVITIES FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS, the Ames Main Street District (AMSD) is requesting suspension of parking enforcement for the Central Business District (CBD) during its Downtown Dixie promotion; and, WHEREAS, the Downtown Dixie event will be held on June 12, 2003, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, the request by Ames Main Street District to suspend parking meter enforcement for the Central Business District on June 12, 2003, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. is hereby approved.
