RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF CONTRACT
FOR REBUILD GREENS 6 AND 9 AT
HOMEWOOD GOLF COURSE
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the Rebuild Greens 6 and 9 Project at Homewood Golf Course for the City of Ames, Iowa, in
accordance with a contract dated May 28, 2002, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and
McCubbin Construction Corporation of Davenport, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Rebuild Greens 6 and 9 Project at Homewood Golf
Course has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the
contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $77,683.95. Partial payment in the amount
of$59,166.15 for work completed was made in August
Section 3. The final payment amount of $18,517.80 due McCubbin Construction
Corporation of Davenport, Iowa, is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 8th day of October, 2002.
