HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Major Site Development Plan for 3714 and 3718 Tripp Street RESOLUTION NO. 02-476 RESOLUTION APPROVING MAJOR SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR TWO PROPOSED 11-PLEX APARTMENT BUILDINGS LOCATED ON ONE LOT TO BE ADDRESSED AS 3714 AND 3718 TRIPP STREET FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA WHEREAS,the developer is requesting approval of a Major Site Development Plan for two proposed 11-plex apartment buildings to be addressed as 3714 and 3718 Tripp Street; and, WHEREAS,the site is located on the south side of Tripp Street,approximately 400 feet west of Village Drive on approximately 1.01 acre of land; and, WHEREAS, the site plan indicates two apartment buildings with 11 units each and 68 off- street parking spaces will be constructed; and, WHEREAS, staff believes the proposed Major Site Development Plan meets the required site planning and design standards; and, WHEREAS, the Planning&Zoning Commission reviewed this request at their meeting of August 7, 2002, and approval of this Major Site Development Plan was recommended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Major Site Development Plan for the construction of two 11-plex apartment buildings on one lot to be addressed as 3714 and 3718 Tripp Street is hereby approved.
