HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Neighborhood Improvement Program funding RESOLUTION NO. 02-245 RESOLUTION APPROVING EXPENDITURES FOR FINAL NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR 2001/02 FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA WHEREAS, at the March 5, 2002, seven of eight Neighborhood Improvement Project applications were approved for funding, totaling$19,480.60; and, WHEREAS,the eighth project was held pending completion of a professional landscaping plan that would also include entryway improvements; and, WHEREAS,that landscaping plan has been received and reviewed by members of the Rating Team, and the project is now being recommended for funding. WHEREAS, the project, Northridge Neighborhood Retaining Pond Beautification, seeks to beautify the retaining pond near the north entryway of Northridge(bordering G.W.Carver Boulevard) by planting a variety of trees around the perimeter of the Pond. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa, that the expenditure of$2,713 for the above-listed Neighborhood Improvement Program project is hereby approved.
