RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF CONTRACT
FOR SOUTH DAKOTA AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for the South
Dakota Avenue Reconstruction Project for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract
dated May 8, 2001, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and McAninch Corporation of
Des Moines, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the South Dakota Avenue Reconstruction Project has
been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and
is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $2,480,538.35.
Section 3. The amount due McAninch Corporation of Des Moines, Iowa, is hereby
ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of February, 2002.
