A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A NEW FEE FOR CRIMINAL
HISTORY CHECKS BY THE CITY OF AMES POLICE
DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa,that the following fee shall be
adopted to recover the approximate actual costs of city services from those who use and benefit from
these services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that
a fee shall be adopted as follows:
SECTION ONE. The following Public Safety - Police Fee is hereby adjusted effective March 1,
2002:
Criminal History Check $5.00
This fee shall not be charged to any City of Ames departments in performance of their duties for the
City, nor to any other law enforcement agency.
