HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - South Duff/US Hwy. 30 Off Ramp Traffic Signal Project RESOLUTION NO. 02-048 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF CONTRACT FOR U.S. HIGHWAY 30 OFF RAMP/SOUTH DUFF AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for the U.S. Highway 30 Off Ramp/South Duff Avenue Traffic Signal Project for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated June 12,2001,by and between the City of Ames,Iowa,and Iowa Signal and Electric Company of Des Moines, Iowa; and, WHEREAS,the project costs are covered 100%by the Iowa Department of Transportation while the City will maintain the signal and supply power to it. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. The total contract for the U.S. Highway 30 Off Ramp/South Duff Avenue Traffic Signal Project has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved. Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $112,619.75. Section 3. The amount due Iowa Signal and Electric of Des Moines, Iowa, is hereby ordered paid as provided by law. Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of January, 2002. Diane R.
