RESOLUTION NO. 01 369
RESOLUTION PROPOSING LONG TERM LEASE OF LAND
BY CITY OF AMES TO RETAIL MANAGEMENT GROUP,
INC.
BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa,that it is hereby proposed to
lease for a term of twenty years such right, title and interest as the City of Ames has with respect to
land described as:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 8, Block 4, Kingsbury's Addition to the
City of Ames; thence East 23.0 feet; thence South 87.0 feet; thence West 23.0 feet
to the Southeast corner of Lot 8, Block 4, Kingsbury's Addition;thence north along
the east line of said Lot 8, 87.0 feet to the point of beginning; containing 2,001
square feet,
to Retail Management Group, Inc., for and in consideration of an initial rent of S 1,241 per annum,
to be increased every 60 months per the lease terms now on file.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing on the proposed lease shall be held in
conjunction with the regular meeting of the Ames City Council on the 11th day of pptemher.
