RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST TO CARRY OVER
UNSPENT MARKETING FUNDS ALLOCATED FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF ENTRYWAY SIGNAGE ON
EAST 13TH STREET NEAR INTERSTATE 35
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Ames Economic Development Commission is requesting to carry over
$8,617.38 in marketing funds for the construction of an entryway sign at East 13th Street and
Interstate 35; and,
WHEREAS,the delay was caused by the length of time that it took to get DNR approval for
site grading.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the request of the Ames Economic Development Commission to carry over $8,617.38 in
marketing funds for the construction of an entryway sign at East 13th Street and Interstate 35 is
hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of June, 2001.
