RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDITIONAL
HUMAN SERVICES CONTRACTS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2001/02
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, on February 13, 2001, the City Council approved the recommendations of
ASSET for 2001/02 City human services purchase of service contracts; and,
WHEREAS, ASSET made recommendations that total the City's budgeted allocation of
$755,260 for 2001/02; and,
WHEREAS, any contract amounts previously sequestered have been released by ASSET;
and,
WHEREAS, the following additional contracts are being presented for Council approval:
ACCESS $ 31,196
Homeward 13,015
University Community Childcare 20,853
Volunteer Center 2,000
TOTAL 67 064
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the funding contracts for Fiscal Year 2001/02 for the above-mentioned human services agencies
are hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of June, 2001.
