RESOLUTION NO. 01-257
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE BY THE
CITY OF AMES OF ITS RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN CERTAIN
LAND TO WILLIAM FEDELER
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Ames,Iowa that the conveyance by
the City of Ames of its right, title and interest in land specifically described as:
Lots 2 and 3, of Block 4, Landfill Addition an official plat City of Ames, Story
County,Iowa,all of which is more accurately described as follows: Beginning at the
northeast corner of Lot 2,Block 4,Landfill Addition,an official plat,City of Ames,
Story County, Iowa; thence S89°10'30"E, a distance of 32.64 feet; thence
S00°04'30"W,a distance of 363.1 feet;thence N89°19'30"W,a distance of 32.5 feet;
thence N00°01'30"E, a distance of 300.1 feet to the southeast corner of said Lot 2;
thence N89°11'30"W, a distance of 200.00 feet; thence N00`33'30"E a distance of
63.05 feet; thence S89°10'30"E, a distance of 198.91 feet to the point of beginning.
Said tract of land contains 0.561 acres more or less.
to William Fedeler for and in consideration of Thirty-six thousand, four hundred dollars ($36,400)
shall be and is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a quit claim deed with respect to the above described land for and on behalf of the City of Ames,
Iowa and the City Clerk shall attest thereto.
