RESOLUTION PROPOSING QUIT CLAIM DEED OF LAND
BY CITY OF AMES TO TERRA FIRMA,L.P.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa, that it is hereby proposed to
convey by Quit Claim Deed such right,title and interest as the City of Ames has with respect to land
described as:
That part of the west 116 feet of Lot 17, Parker's Addition, Ames, Iowa, that lies
north of the south 79.2 feet of said Lot 17 and abuts on the south line of Chamberlain
Street, in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa
to Terra Firma,L.P.,in consideration of Twenty-two thousand,nine hundred thirty-eight dollars and
no cents ($22,938.00), plus the buyer shall, at buyer's sole expense and as directed by the City's
engineer, relocate an 8" storm sewer now on the said land and grant to the City a storm sewer
easement if directed to do so by the City's engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing on the proposed conveyance shall be held
in conjunction with the regular meeting of the Ames City Council on the 8th day of May, 2001.
