RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR LOTUS NOTES MIGRATION PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, proposals were received on the 6th day of September, 2000, for furnishing
hardware, software, and related services for the conversion from OfficeVision/400 to Lotus Notes
for the City of Ames, Iowa. Said proposal has now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
To Midland Systems, Inc./MSI Systems Integrators of Des Moines, Iowa, in the
amount of$87,330.00 plus$2,550 for programmer training for a total award amount
of$89,880.00.
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of September, 2000.
