RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST TO CARRY OVER
$20,000 FROM FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000 TO 2000/2001
TO BE USED FOR ENTRYWAY SIGNAGE ON
EAST 13TH STREET NEAR INTERSTATE 35
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Ames Economic Development Commission is requesting to carry over
$20,000 in marketing funds for the construction of an entryway sign at East 13th Street and Interstate
35; and,
WHEREAS,specifically,this represents$12,000 from Fiscal Year(FY) 1998/99,which the
City Council approved last June, and $8,000 from FY 1999/00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the request of the Ames Economic Development Commission to carry over $20,000 in
marketing funds for the construction of an entryway sign at East 13th Street and Interstate 35 is
hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of August, 2000.
