HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Auditor's Plat for Pete Cooper Subdivision, Lot 2 RESOLUTION NO. 00-338 RESOLUTION APPROVING AUDITOR'S PLAT FOR PETE COOPER SUBDIVISION, LOT 2 FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA WHEREAS,Section 354.13 of the Iowa Code provides that the County Auditor may demand that a Plat of Survey or subdivision plat be prepared when a property description is not clear or a land division has occurred and has not been approved according to state statute; and, WHEREAS,a lot previously described as Lot 2 of Pete Cooper Subdivision has been divided twice in the past without the approval of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, these divisions have resulted in a total of three parcels being created; and, WHEREAS,these parcels are located in the eastern portion of the City south of Lincoln Way and immediately east of Freel Drive; and, WHEREAS, staff is directing that Outlot A and Outlot B be designated as unbuildable;and, WHEREAS, no public improvements are required as part of this Subdivision; and, WHEREAS, the County Auditor has now ordered that an Auditor's Plat be prepared. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Auditor's Plat of Lot 2, Pete Cooper's Subdivision, is hereby approved. ADOPTED THIS 11 th day of July, 2000.
