RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO SUPPLY CUTAWAY CHASSIS VAN BODY, SELF-POWERED GENERATOR,
AND TELEVISED PIPELINE INSPECTION SYSTEM
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 2nd day of March, 2000, to supply a
Cutaway Chassis Van Body,Self-Powered Generator,and Televised Pipeline Inspection System for
the Public Works Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
To ELXSI d/b/a Cues of Orlando, Florida, in the total amount of$59,790.00.
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 28th day of March, 2000.
