ACCEPTING PLAT
WHEREAS,there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,
a plat of real estate described as:
A parcel of land located in the South Half(S 1/2) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Fourteen (14), Township Eighty-three
(83)North,Range Twenty-four(24)West of the 5th P.M.,in the City
of Ames,Story County,Iowa,described as follows: Beginning at the
Northeast Corner(NE Cor.)of Lot One(1),Rolling Meadows Second
Addition to Ames, Iowa, thence South 89036'08" West 181.6 Feet
along the North line of Rolling Meadows Second Addition to Ames,
Iowa, and Rolling Meadows First Addition to Ames, Iowa, thence
North 00004'43"East 399.72 Feet to the Southwest Corner(SW Cor.)
of Lot Fourteen (14) of Country Gables Seventh Addition to Ames,
Iowa, thence North 89°35'28" East 257.55 Feet along the South line
of said Country Gables Seventh Addition, thence South 29033'11"
East 181.8 Feet along the Southwesterly line of Lot Five (5) in
Country Gables Sixth Addition to Ames, Iowa, thence South
60°26'49" West 74.41 Feet to the beginning of a curve, thence
Southwesterly and Southerly 212.55 Feet along said curve having a
radius of 200.24 Feet, concave to the Southeast, and a central angle
of 60049'11" and being subtended by a chord which bears South
30003'38" West 202.72 Feet, thence South 00012'35" East 30 Feet to
the point of beginning, containing 2.33 acres,
to be known as BETHANY SUBDIVISION,AMES, IOWA, and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, has
recommended that the plat be approved, and
WHEREAS,the owner of said real estate,Evangelical Lutheran Synod,has executed
a written Consent declaring that the platting is with its free consent and is in accordance with its
desires as proprietor, and
WHEREAS, Lutheran Brotherhood, mortgagee, has executed a written Consent
declaring that the platting is with its free consent and is in accordance with its desires as proprietor,
and has further consented and joined in all granted easement rights with respect to said subdivision,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that the
plat should be approved,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the plat of BETHANY SUBDIVISION, AMES, IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted
and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the acts of Evangelical Lutheran Synod,
as grantor in the premises, are hereby confirmed and approved on this 26th day of
October , 1999..
