HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Adopting New and Revised Fees RESOLUTION NO. 99-145 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING NEW AND REVISED FEES FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa, that the following fees shall be adopted or adjusted to recover the approximate actual costs of city services from those who use and benefit from these services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that fees shall be adopted as follows: SECTION ONE. The following Public Safety-Police Fees are hereby adopted or adjusted effective July 1, 1999: Overtime Payback (per hour) $32.00 Video Tape Copying(tape provided $50.00 SECTION TWO. SECTION THREE. The following Public Works Fees arc hereby adopted or adjusted effective July 1, 1999.. Solid Waste Fees Commercial charge customers through the scales.- All vehicles, including those of licensed refuse haulers $42.00 per ton Minimum charge one ton. Motorized white goods, including refrigerator, freezers, washing machines, dryers, air conditioners and microwave ovens - for each unit disposed of: $20.00 Solid waste from agencies with 28E agreements and not paying per capita fees: $47.00 Engineering Fees Blueline Printing Labor $10.00 Paper $0.25/s.f. Computer Plots $1.00/s.f. SECTION FOUR. The following Planning and Housing Fees are hereby adopted or adjusted effective July 1, 1999: ZBA Fee (other than Special Use) $75.00 Plats - final 100.00 Zoning Amendments 150.00 PUD 175.00 plus $10/acre Site Plan Review 75.00 SECTION FIVE.
