RESOLUTION APPROVING 1999 FARM LEASE AGREEMENT
FOR WATER AND POLLUTION CONTROL (WPC) PLANT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City leases the land not used for WPC Plant operations to an area farmer
for agricultural production; and,
WHEREAS, for more than ten years, the farm lease has been with Robert Finch of rural
Ames; and,
WHEREAS,the City has had an excellent working relationship with Mr.Finch and has been
very satisfied with him as the farm manager; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the farm lease for the 1999 crop year with Robert Finch for land not used by the WPC Plant is
hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 11 th day of March, 1999.
