W RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR
a 1608 CRESTWOOD CIRCLE AND 609 CARR DRIVE
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
cWHEREAS,an application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line
c adjustment per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and,

N WHEREAS, the site is located at 1608 Crestwood Circle and 609 Carr Drive, (and the owners
c are: Jesse P. and Tara A Berstler, and Jacob DeVries, respectively); and,
yWHEREAS, the real estate descriptions are as follows:
~ Survey Description - Parcel 'A':
c A part of Lot 12 in the First Subdivision of Gunderland Heights Addition to the City of Ames,
Story County, Iowa, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest
Corner of said Lot 12;thence following the boundary of said Lot 12 N34°56'57"W, 22.08 feet;
thence northwesterly, 92.34 feet along a curve having a radius of 113.20 feet, concave to the east,
a central angle of 46'44'13" and being subtended by a chord which bears N14'25'13"W, 89.80
feet; thence N08°52'39"E,
31.01 feet to the Northwest Corner of said Lot 12;thence S80°02'43"E, 79.36 feet to the Northeast
Corner thereof, thence S22°29'32"E, 69.21 feet along the east line thereof; thence S70033'56"W,

WHEREAS, a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been
rendered by the Planning and Housing Department with no conditions; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that
the Plat of Survey for 1608 Crestwood Circle and 609 Carr Drive is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 2211d day of January, 2019.
