RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR
c 3655,3649,3643 AND 3637 STORY STREET,303 WESTWOOD DRIVE,
AND 3622 WOODLAND STREET
N FOR THE CITY OF AMES
x WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line
H adjustment per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and,

WHEREAS,the sites are located at 3655,3649,3643 and 3637 Story Street,303 Westwood,and
3622 Woodland Street,the owners are:Douglas and Ruth Provow,Timothy and Jenny Arends,Margaret
N Newton, Kim Hasstedt, Mathew Miller, and Independent School District of Ames, respectively; and,

WHEREAS,the real estate descriptions are:

right of way line to the west right of way line of Westwood Drive; thence S00121'28"E,
595.90 feet along said line; thence N89°22'03"W, 365.95 feet to the west line of said
Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence N00°21'30"W, 595.64 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 5.00 acres;
and,
WHEREAS,a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered
by the Planning and Housing Department with no conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that
the Plat of Survey for 3655, 3649, 3643 and 3637 Story Street, 303 Westwood, and 3622 Woodland
Street is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 8`h day of August, 2017.
