That a portion of the r,-'ast and ��.Iest alley in ~:lock.r �',ighteen (18) in Blair's Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa, more particularly described as fellows: The k'ast 107 feet of the original platted alley ia El ock 7ighteen (18) in Blair's Addition to the City of Ames, Iowa, and, the youth 13 feet of Lot 4 in said 1 lock 18, (except beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 4, thence North 13 feet, thence �"Iost 13 feet, thence South- east to the point of beginning), and, the 'South 13 feet of Lot 5 in said Block 18 (except b(-,:,ginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 5, thence North 13 feet, thence TFast 3 feet, thence Southeast 1/1. 14 feet to, a point 3 feet North of the South line of said Lot 5, thence South 3 feet, thence V/est 13 feet to the point of beginning), be and the same is hereby vacated as a public alley. -I,, Section 2. That the ;1ayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, a quit claim deed to said parcel of land to the Ufnion Story 'I rust and Savings 11-1kank, said deed subject, however, to a reservation of an easement and right-of-way over, across or under the above described property, except the South 6 feet of the Last 107 feet thereof, for the construction, reconstruction, alteration, operation, maintenance and repair of any electrical poles, lines, cables, telephone lines, sanitary servers, storar sewerz, or water lines. Section 3. 1hat the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to make a certified copy of this ordinance and attach the sari:& to said deed. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
