HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Ordinance 937 (Zoning) Inst # 697 Fee $ 4.50 e ORDINANCE NO. 988 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) and 42-4 of ORDINANCE NO. 937 OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA BY CHANGING CERTAIN "B" DISTRICTS (MULTIPLE RESIDENCE) AREAS TO "D" DISTRICTS (BUSINESS .AND LIGHT INDUSTRY) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES,, IOWA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 42-3(b) and Section 42-4 of Ordinance No. 937 of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the official zoning map therein referred to are hereby amended so as to change and rezone from a "B" District (Multiple Residence) to "D" District (Business and Light Industry) the following property: The West 120 feet of Lot 10, Block 5, Original Town of Ames, Iowa. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of rodinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 7th day of March 1961. et \ W. Jot, it Clerk Pearle P.
