HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Repealing Certain Sections of Chapter 20 of Municipal Code (Plumbing) r � ORDINANCE NO. 987 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 20-5 OF CHAPTER 20 of THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; AND PROVIDING FOR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF PLUMBING EXAMINERS. Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Section 20--5 of Chapter 20 of the municipal code of the City of Ames, Iowa be and the same is hereby repealed; and the following be and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 20-5 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 20-5 Meetings. The board shall meet in the months of January, April, July and October of each year, or ofetner, at such time and place as notified by the chairman of the board, to examine applicants for a license to engage in or work at the business of plumbing. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflicit with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 7th day d February 1961. M. W. Jor an, i Clerk Pearle P.
