' 973 4r 'Y AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING CURB GRADES ON CERTAI n f7` STREETS AND AVENUE S IN THE CITY OF ANTES, IOWA. �a Section 1. That the curb grades on the following streets and avenues in the City of Ames, Iowa be and they are hereby established at the elevations shown on the plats and profiles now on file in the office of the City Clerk, which said plats and profiles are by this reference made a part of this ordin- ance. Annear Street - From the West line of Scholl Road West 306. 4 feet Crescent Street and - From the North line of Thirteenth Summit Avenue Street to the South line of Sixteenth Street. Ridgewood Avenue - From the intersection with Crescent Street to the intersection with Summit'.Avenue. Crescent Street - From the intersection with Ridgewood Avenue to the intersection with Summit Avenue. South Second Street - From the East line of South Duff Avenue East 134 feet. Colorado Avenue - From the North line of Lincoln Way to the South line of Story Street. Story Street - From the West line of Wilmoth Avenue to the Westterminal of Story Street Jensen Avenue - From the North line of Twenty-Fourth Street to the intersection with Twenty- Fifth Street. Ashmore Drive - From the West line of Beech Avenue West 517. 2 feet. Fourteenth Street - From the East line of Stafford Avenue East 107 feet. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 6th day of September , 1960. M. W. Jordan, City Pearle P. Voting Aye: Armstrong, Judge, Lawlor, Ratterree, and Schilletter Voting Nay: None Absent: Brouhard Moved by Ratterree and seconded by Schilletter the rules governing the passage of ordinances be suspended, the second and third read- ings be omitted, and Ordinance No, 973 be placed on its final passage. Voting Aye: Armstrong, Judge, Lawlor, Ratterree, and Schilletter Voting Nay: None Absent: Brouhard Moved by Schilletter and seconded by Judge that Ordinance No. 973 do now pass. Voting Aye: Armstrong, Judge, Lawlor, Ratterree, and Schilletter Voting Nay: None Absent: Brouhard Mayor De Hart declared Ordinance No. 973 duly adopted. I, M. W. Jordan, City Clerk of the City of Ames, Iowa, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 973 was duly and properly passed at a meeting of the City Council on the 6th day of September, 1960, and published in the Ames Daily Tribune on the 14th day of September, 1960.
