HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Establishing Curb Grades on Certain Streets i ORDINANCE NO. 960 AN ORDINANCE CREAM NG AND ESTABLISHING CURB GRADES ON CERTAI STREETS AND AVENUES IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA. Section 1. That the curb grades on the following streets and avenues in the City of Ames, Iowa be and they are hereby established at the elevations shown on the plats and profiles now on file in the office of the City Clerk, which said plats and profiles are by this reference made a part of this ordinance. Duff Avenue - From the North line of Sixteenth Street north 650. 3 feet . Meadow Lane Avenue - From the South line of Carr Drive North 274. 1 feet. Scholl Road - From the North line of Ross Road to the South line of Ontario Road. Sixteenth Street - From the West line of Block 1, Friedrich's Ninth Addition to Ames, Iowa to the East line of Block 2 of said addition. Michigan Avenue - From the North line of Ross Road to the South line of Ontario Road. Ferndale Avenue - From the South line of Twenty-Fourth Street in Second Addition, Melrose Park Subdivision in the City of Ames, Iowa. Carr Drive - From the West line of Meadowlane Avenue Southwest 650. 4 feet South Oak Avenue - From the North line of South Fourth Street to the South line of South Second Street. South Fourth Street - From the East terminus thereof West 218. 67 feet. Eighteenth Street - From the East line of Clark Avenue to the West line of Burnett Avenue. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 15th day of March , 1960. r y M. W. Jorda Clerk Pearle P.
