AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING CURB GRADES ON
CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA.
Be It Ordained By the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
as follows:
Section 1. That the curb grades on the following streets
and avenues in the City of Ames, Iowa be and they are hereby
established at the elevations shown on the plats and profiles now
on file in the office of the City Clerk, which said plats and
profiles are by this reference made a part of this ordinance.
Burnett Avenue - From the North line of Twenty-second
Street to the South line of Twenty-
Fourth Street.
Colorado Avenue - From the North line of Story Street
to the South line of West Street.
Fourteenth Street - At Maxwell Avenue and Glendale Avenue
Glendale Avenue - From the North line of Thirteenth
Street North 939. 3 feet.
Hunziker Drive - From the West line of Melrose Avenue
South and Easterly to East of
Roosevelt Avenue.
Hunziker Circle - Southwesterly off Hunziker Drive.
Kellogg Avenue - From the North line of Twenty-Second
Street to the South line of Twenty-
Fourth Street.
Maxwell Avenue -- From the North line of Thirteenth
Street North 790.9 feet.
Melrose Avenue - From 502 feet North of the North
line of Twentieth Street North
600.8 feet.
Narland Drive -- From the West line of Ferndale Avenue
to the East line of Roosevelt Avenue
Roosevelt Avenue - From the North line of Murray Drive
to the North terminus of Roosevelt
Avenue.
Twentieth Street - From the center of Roosevelt Avenue
East 160 feet and West 474.9 feet.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.

955 be passed on its first reading.

Voting Nay: None
Moved by Armstrong and seconded by Judge that the rules governing
the passage of ordinances be suspended, the second and third
readings be omitted, and Ordinance No. 955 be placed on its final
passage.

Schilletter
Voting Nay: None
Moved by Schilletter and seconded by Ratterree that Ordinance No.
955 do now pass.

Mayor De Hart declared Ordinance No. 955 duly adopted.

certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 955 was duly
and properly passed at a meeting of the City Council on the 16th
day of February, 1960, and published in the Ames Daily Tribune on
the 23rd day of February, 1960.
