HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code (Traffic) 4 ORDINANCE NO. 954 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 ON TRAFFIC OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTIONS 25-113. 5 AND 25-114. 6 THEREOF AND PROVIDING FOR TWELVE MINUTE AND SIXTY MINUTE PARKING METER SPACES. Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Sections 25-113. 5 and 25-114. 6 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa be and the same are hereby repealed and the following be and the same are hereby enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Sections 25-113. 5 and 25-114. 6 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 25-113. 5 Two (2) parking meter spaces on the south side of Lincoln Way immediately east of Hayward Avenue shax3 have a maximum parking limit of twelve (12) minutes. 25-114. 6 Lincoln Way from the east line of Hayward Avenue to the west line of Stanton Avenue, except for two parking meter spaces on the south side of Lincoln Way immediately east of Hayward Avenue, is hereby established as a sixty (60) minute parking meter zone. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 5th day of January , 1960. M. W. Jordan, i Clerk Pearle P.
