ORDINANCE NO. 935
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE NAME, OF THE PUBLIC STREET
RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND ADJACENT
TO THE WEST CORPORATE LIMITS THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AMES, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the public street legally described
as Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 5, Township 83
North, Range 24 West of the 5th P. M. , Iowa, and running
thence West along the North line of said Southeast Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter 247. 5 feet, the point of beginning,
thence South 20 44, West 209.2 feet, thence West 35 feet,
thence North 20 441 East 209.2 feet, thence East 35 feet
to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby
named HICKORY DRIVE.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and publication as provided
by law.

Mayor De Hart declared Ordinance No. 935 duly adopted.

certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 935 was duly
and property passed at a meeting of the City Council on the 5th
day of May, 1959, and published in the Ames Daily Tribune on the
day of May, 1959.
