ORDINANCE NO. 924
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF AMES, IOWA BY REPEALING SECTION 34-3 THEREOF AND ENACTING A
NEW SECTION 3�-3 THEREOF. PROVIDING FOR THE CITY CLERK TO SET
ASIDE FUNDS IN THE WATER DEPARTMENT RESERVE FUND.
Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, a
follows:
Section 1, That Section 34-3 of Chapter 34 of the Municipal
Code of the City Of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed
and the following shall be . substituted in place thereof and shall
be known as Section 34-3 of The Municipal Code of the City of
Ames, Iowa:
34-3 Deposits From Water Department Fund. The
City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to set
aside in said fund such sums of money from the water
department as the City Council may direct.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
