AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 33 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION 33-3 THEREOF AND ENACTING
A NEW SECTION 33-3 THEREOF PROVIDING FOR THE CITY CLERK TO SET
ASIDE FUNDS IN THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT RESERVE FUND.
Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa,
as follows :
Section 1. That Section 33-3 of Chapter 33 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed
and the following shall be substituted in place thereof and shall
be known as Section 33-3 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Ames, Iowa:
33-3 Deposits from Electric Department. The City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed o set aside in said fund
such sums of money from the electric department fund as
the city council may direct.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.

Mayor De Hart declared Ord. No. 923 duly adopted.
I, J. W. Prather, City Clerk of the City of Ames, Iowa, do hereby certify
that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 923 was duly and properly passed
at a meeting of the City Council on the 16th day of December, 1958 and
published in the Ames Daily Tribune on the 18th day of December, 1958.
