HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code (Traffic) ORDINANCE NO. 914 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 ON TRAFFIC OF THE MiNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA BY PROVIDING ADDITIONAL METERED PARKING LOTS. Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. Section 25-111.2 of the Municipal Code of The City of Ames, Iowa is hereby amended by adding thereto subsection f to be known as Section 25-111.2f of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa. 25-111.2f Rushing' s U-Save Parking Lot is that parking lot located on Lots 5, 6 and 9, and the North 75 feet of Lots 10 and 11, all in Block 12, Original Town of Ames, Iowa. Section 2. Section 25-111. 3 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, is hereby amended by adding thereto subsection e to be known as Section 25-111.3e of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa. 25-111.3e Rushing' s U-Save Parking Lot from 9 o' clock A. M. to 9 o' clock P. M. , except holidays. Section 3. Section 25-111 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa is hereby amended by adding the following section thereto to be known as Section 25-111.9 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa. 25-111.9 Meter Rates - Rushing' s U-Save Parking Lot. The rate for parking shall be one (10) cent for thirty (30) minutes, with a one(1) hour maximum time limit. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this �2nd day Of i December , 1958• Pra r Pearle F.
