HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 26 of Municipal Code (Electric Rates) ORDINANCE NO. 899 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 26 ON ELECTRIC RATES OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY ESTABLISHING AN ELECTRIC SPACE HEATING RATE SCHEDULE. Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Section 26-5 of Chapter 26 on Electric Rates of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby amended and that the following shall be inserted at the end thereof and shall be known as Section 26-5(a) of Chapter 26 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa. 26-5(a) Electric apace Heating Rate. Separate meter rate for electric 7space heating. All electric energy used $0.0175 per K. 4. Hr. Minimum charge for meter reading intervals of approximately thirty ( 30) days or fraction thereof $1.00. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This, ordinancg shall be in full force and effect from and after September 20, 19 and from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 19th day of August 1958.
