HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Sections of Chapter 48 of Municipal Code (Building) YS- ORDINANCE NO. 895 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 48-36, 48-36.2 and 48-37 OF CHAPTER 48 ON BUILDING CODE OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY INCLUDING ADDITIONAL LAND IN FIRE DISTRICT NO. 2. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA,AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Sections 48-36, 48-36.2 and 48-37 of Chapter 48 on Building Code of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the official fire district map therein referred to are hereby amended to include in Fire District No. 2 the following described property: Beginning at the SE corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 11, Township 83 North, Range 24 ',crest of the 5th P. M. , Story County, Iowa, thence West to a point 320 feet East of the center of said Section, thence North 923.7 feet, thence 4est 320.0 feet, thence North 400.0 feet, thence East 320.0 feet, thence North 532.0 feet, thence East 198.0 feet, thence North 66.0 feet, thence East 346.0 feet, thence North 132.0 feet, thence East 148.0 feet, thence North 132.0 feet, thence East 814.4 feet, thence North 180.0 feet, thence East 825.5 feet, thence South to point of beginning. :Jest of Duff Avenue - commencing at the center of said Section 11, thence ':Jest 641.0 feet to point of beginning, thence Jest 1994.5 feet, thence North 660.7 feet, thence East 645.5 .feet, thence North 297.1 feet, thence East 244.0 feet, thence North 63.0 feet, . thence East 607.5 feet, thence North 184.0 feet, thence East 218.7 feet, thence North 426.0 feet, thence East 479.0 feet, thence South 1469.0 feet, thence West 194.0 feet, thence South 162. 3 feet to point of beginning. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this amendment are hereby repealed. Section 3.
