AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) and 42-4 OF CHAPTER 42
ON ZONING OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, -IOWA, BY
ZONING RECENTLY ANNEXED LAND AS "A" DISTRICT.
Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa
As Follows:
Section 1. That Section 42-3(b) and Section 42-4
of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and
the official Zoning Map therein referred to are hereby
amended to include land recently annexed in "A" Districts -
(Residence ), said land being described as follows:
Lots Five (5 ), Six (6), and Seven 7) of the South
178 feet of the Northwest Quarter (NWT. ) of the
Northwest Quarter (NW' ) of Section 35, Township
83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P. M. , Story
County, Iowa.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances !
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after passage and publication as
provided by law.
Passed this 3rd day of June 1958.

passed on its first reading.

Moved by Smith and seconded by Schilletter that the rules governing the passage
of ordinances be suspended, the second and third readings be omitted and
Ordinance No. 891 be placed on its final passage.

Absent: None
Moved by Schilletter and seconded by Lawlor that Ordinance No. 891 do now
pass.

Mayor De Hart declared Ordinance No. 891 duly adopted.

the above and foregoing O- dinance No. 891 was duly and properly passed at
a meeting of the City Council on the 3rd day of June, 1958 and published in
