HomeMy WebLinkAboutA001 - Public Notice h '�ULLIC �30�1'ICI:, `O WHOM IT MAY CONC.FRN: YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Plan Commission and the City Council have determined that in compliance with the approved street layout, the increased use for business of the property on South Fifth Street, High Avenue and Cherry Avenue, requires that a building; setback line be established on each side of said streets ; that the pertinent provisions of said ord- inance are as follows .- SECTION 1: Building lines, "youth Fifth Street. A building line is hereby established on each side of South Fifth "tr. eet, parallel to and forty (40) feet from the center line of said street. S CTION 2 : Building; lines, High Avenue . A build- ing line is hereby established on each side of Him;h Avenue , parallel to and fcrty (40) feet from the cer-ter line of said avenue . SECTION 3 : Building lines , Cherry Avenue . A build- nline is hereby established on each side of Cherry Avenue, parallel to and forty (L�0) feet from the center line of sari avenue. SECTION No encroaching; construction. No build- inrrs, structures, or additicns thereto shall be erected on land lying; between said building lines as here established on South Fifth Street, High Avenue and Cherry Avenue, SECTION 5: Penalty. Any person, firm, or corporation violating; any provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined a sum not exceeding one hundred ( 100.00) Dollars and in default of payment thereof shall be corr2nitted to the city or county jail for a term cf not exceedin:-; thirty (30) days. YOJ ARE HEREBY FURTHTR NOTIFIED that the Council has given preliminary approval of a proposed ordinance establishing the proposed building lines ; that a hearing on the final adoption of such ordinance n;ill�be held before the City Council at 9 :00 o ' clock P.M. on the��day of 1957 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Azi,7agains, Io,.
