AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING CURB
GRADES ON CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES
IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. That the curb grades on the following
streets and avenues in the City of Ames, Iowa be,
and they are hereby, established at the elevations
shown on the plats and profiies now on file in the
office of the City Clerk, which said plats and pro-
files are by this reference made a part of this
Ordinance :
ROSS ROAD -► From the East line of Gar-
fiell Avenue to the Test
line of 'Scott Avenue.
HAWTHORNE AVENUE - From the North line of.
Wood and Avenue to the
South line of Oakland Ave.
SEVENTEENTH STREET - West from the West line of
Douglas Avenue.
DOUGLAS AVENUE - From the North line of
Sixteenth Street to the
North line of Hunz iker-
Furm n Fifth Subdivision.
WISCONSIN AVENUE From the South line of
Ontario Road to the North
line of Ross Road.
MIC HIGAN AVENUE From the South line of
Ontario Road to the North
line of Ross Road„
WEST STREET » From the East line of Frank-
lin Avenue to the West line

Subdivision.

Section 2 , All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section j This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect f om and after passage and publication as provided
by law.

of ordinances be suspended, the second and third readings be omitted and
Ordinance No. 868 be placed on its final passage.
