HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Establishing Curb Grades on Certain Streets > } 1 - 4 ORDINANCE NO. 863 AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING CURB GRADES ON CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA AS FOLLOWS : Section 1. That the curb grades on the following streets and avenues in the City of Ames, Iowa be, and they are hereby, established at the elevations shown on the plats and profiies now on file in the office of the City Clerk, which said plats and pro- files are by this reference made a part of this Ordinance : ROSS ROAD -► From the East line of Gar- fiell Avenue to the Test line of 'Scott Avenue. HAWTHORNE AVENUE - From the North line of. Wood and Avenue to the South line of Oakland Ave. SEVENTEENTH STREET - West from the West line of Douglas Avenue. DOUGLAS AVENUE - From the North line of Sixteenth Street to the North line of Hunz iker- Furm n Fifth Subdivision. WISCONSIN AVENUE From the South line of Ontario Road to the North line of Ross Road. MIC HIGAN AVENUE From the South line of Ontario Road to the North line of Ross Road„ WEST STREET » From the East line of Frank- lin Avenue to the West line of H ziker-Furman second Subdivision. WEST STREET From the East line of Colorado Avenue to the East line of Wilmoth Avenue. SIXTEENTH STREET - From the East line of Burnett Avenue to the Fast line of Friedrich' s Ninth Addition, TWENTIETH STREET » From the East line of Burnett Avenue to the West line of Douglas Avenue. BURNE TT AVENUE » From the North line of Twentieth ;street to the South line of 22nd Street, KELLOGG AVENUE » Fi4om the North line of 20th Street to a point 105 feet North of 22nd Street. a TWENTY SECOND STREET - From the East line of Burnett Avenue to Duff, ana North 194 feet on Douglas. TWENTY-FIRST STREET - From the East line of Kellogg Avenue to the West line of Douglas Avenue• DUFF AVENUE - 22nd Street to Douglas Avenue, also Went of 22nd Street, 200 feet and also East of Duff Avenue, 200 feet. DOUGLAS AVENUE - From the North line of 20th Street to the South» west line of Duff Avenue. Section 2 , All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
