WHEREAS, the 30 foot wide public way immediately South of, and parallel to the railroad right-of-way running -:Vest from :Kellogg Avenue was not named when this area was platted, and IN_EREAS, said public way is now extensively used as a street, and this lack of name is a source of confusion, and JIMEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Ames has recommend a name as herein designated for said street; NO',"I UixREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Io,va, as follows:-7 SECTION 1 : Street Name . The 30 foot wide public way immediately South of, and parallel to the right- of-way of the main line of the Chicago-Northwestern Railway, running West from Kellogg and South to Lincoln 'PIay, in Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby named GI'_,CHRIST STREET , Si�CTION 2: Repeal . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the orovisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed . SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall be in full force an effect from and after its final passage and publicat on as provided by law .
