HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Ordinance 812 s 4 • , t ORDINANCE NO. 852 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 812 BY DECLARING IT TO BE A MISDEMEANOR TO DEPOSIT PAPERS OR THE LIKE INTO STREETS OR PUBLIC PLACES OR UPON MOTOR VEHICLES WHILE PARKED ON PUBLIC PROPERTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, as follows: Section 1. Section 69 of Ordinance No. 812 is hereby repealed and the following shall hereafter be known as Section 69 of said Ordinance. Section 69. Paper in Streets and on Vehicles. Any person who throws or deposits or causes to be thrown or deposited, any paper, cards, advertisements or the like, into any street, alley or other public place or places, handbills or advertising matter in or upon motor vehicles while parked on public property shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this amendment are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 3rd day of July, 1956. —9J, W.
