No. 67 ORDINANCE NO. 841 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF B01\DS FOR CERTAIN CITY OFFICIALS, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 423 AND ALL OTHER ORDIN- ANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA: Section 1. Bonds Required. That the officers and employees of the City of Ames, Iowa, herein named, before entering upon the discharge of their respective duties shall, in addition to the oath or affirmation required by law, execute a bond to said city with a fidelity or indemnity company authorized by law to do business in this state to be approved by the city council, conditioned for the faithful performance of their duties and that they will account for and pay over to the person entitled to receive the same all money or property belonging to the said city which may in any manner come into their hands, in the following sums, respectively: Mayor $1, 000. 00 Mayor Pro-Tem $1, DOD. 00 City Manager $5, 000. OD Treasurer $5, 000. 00 f City Clerk $5, 000. 00 City Solicitor $1, 000. 00 Chief of Police $1, D00. 00 Section 2. Where Filed. Each of the above bonds shall be filed in the clerk's office, except that of the city clerk, which shall be filed with the mayor. Section 3. Repeal. Ordinance No. 423 and all other ordinances or parts o ordinances in conflict herewith are herewith and hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 27th day of March, 1956. L�!j J. W. rather, City Clerk T. P.
