NO. 28 Permane-at Ord, No. 779 N O-aDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CORPORATE SEAL FOR THE CITY, AND AN FFICIAL SEAL FOR THE MAYOR AND CLERK AND REPEALING ORDINANCE O. 356. ;BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA: ' I �ection 1. Corporate Seal. The corporate seal of the City of Ames sha13 have in As center the words "Ames, Iowa", and around the margin the words "City Seal",, i and such seal is hereby declared to be the official seal of the city. Section 2. Mayor' s Seal. The seal of the mayor as heretofore used is hereby dopted, and is described as follows: a disc having around its margin "Mayor of Z�,mes, Iowa" and within a circle on the face thereof the word "Seal". Section 3. Clerk's Seal. The seal of the city clerk, as heretofore used, is j hereby adopted, and is described as follows: a disc having around its margin the words "City Clerk Ames" and "Iowa" and within a circle on the face thereof the I 1werd "Seal". Section 4. Repeal. Ordinance No. 356 and all other ordinances or parts of ;:ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 7th day of February, 1955. J. W. Prather . City Cler J. P.
