Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Ames , Iowa, as follows: SECTION 1: Section 1 of Ordinance #662 is hereby specifically repealed and the following shall herein— after be known as Section 1 of said ordinance. Section 1: Commercial Rate Schedule. First 200 K. W. Hrs . or less used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5¢ per K.W.H. Next 200 K. W. Hrs. or less used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4¢ per K.W.H. All over 400 K. W. Hrs. used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3¢ per K.W.H. Minimum charge per month or fraction thereof . . . . . . . . . . . . . $1.00 SECTION 2: Section 4 as amended of Ordinance No. 662 is hereby specifically repealed and the following shall hereinafter be known as Section 4 of said ordinance. Section 4: Power Rate Schedule. First 400 K. W. Hrs. or less used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . 5¢ per K.W.H. Next 600 K. W. Hrs. or less used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4. 5¢ per K.W.H. Next 3000 K. W. Hrs. or less used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3¢ per K.W.H. Next 6000 K. W. Hrs, or less used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.50 per K.W.H. All over 10,000 K. W. Hrs. used in one meter reading interval of approximately 30 days . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1.60 per K.W.H. Applicable to power users having a single motor installation of 3/4 H. P. or more. Minimum charge per month or fraction thereof : $1.00 per H. P. for first 5 H. P, .50 per H. P. for next 45 H. P. .25 per H. P. for all over 50 H. P. Y Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this amendment are hereby repealed. Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1954 after passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 22nd day of June 1954.
