AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING CENTER LINE
GRADES ON CERTAIN ALLEYS IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the center line gravies on the follovang alleys be and
are hereby established to the elevation shown on the plats and profiles
filed in the office of the City Clerk and attached and made a part of this
ordinance:
Eight St. ( or alley) - East line Duff Ave to west line of Carroll Ave.

East & West alley - between Lockwood's Add. and Ames Grain & Coal
Add., from east line of Kellogg Ave. to west line
of Sherman Ave.
North & South Alley - through Chautauqua Park Add., from north line of
Sixth Street to south line of Ninth Street, except
Lee Street.
North and South Alley - through Block 8, Original Town, from north line of
Fifth Street to south line of Sixth Street
North & South Alley - through Block 7, Original Town, from north line of
Fifth Street, to south line of Sixth Street
East & West Alley - through Shearerts Subdiv. of Block 41, Blair's Add.,
from east line of Grand Ave. to east end of Alley
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication as provided by law.
