AN ORDINANCE {NDING ORDINANCE NO. 6 77, PARTICULARLY
SECTION 16A, =1ICIPAL PARKING LOTS, OF ORDINANCE NO.
647.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of tales, Io.,ra:
Section 1. That Section 16A of Ordinance No. 647 of the City Ordinances
of the City of Ames, Iowa, is hereby specifically repealed and that the follow-
ing shall be hereinafter known as Section 16A of Ordinance No. 647.
'ISection 16A. llunicipal Parkin Lots. The parking of
a�!. vehicles on all week days, except Saturdays between the
hours of 8:00 o'clock a.m. and 6:00 o'clock p.m. and on
Saturdays between the hours of 8:00 o'clock a.m. and 9:00
o'clock p.m., shall be limited to ninety (90) minutes in any
municipally owned, leased or controlled parking lots and areas,
including the following:
11unicipal parking lot abutting on Fifth Street
and Kellogg Avenue, more particularly described as
an area including approximately the south fifty (50)
feet of Lot Six (6), the south fifty (50) feet of
Lot Eight (8), and the area on Lots Six (6), Seven
(7), and Eight (8) situated east of the store build-
ing on said premises, all in Block right (8), Original
Town of .Ames, Story County, Iowa."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this amendment are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This amendment to Ordinance No. 647 of the City Ordinances
of the City of Ames, Iowa, shall be in force and effect from and after its
Passage and publication as provided by law.
Passed this 7th day of November ., 1949.

Mayor declared Ordinance No. 680 passed.
